This course prepares participants to act as trainers within The Salvation Army's disaster training program. Emphasis is placed on effective teaching skills, including how to effectively use cooperative learning within small groups to enhance the learning experience. The course also includes teaching simulations that will help participations identify their instructing strengths and weaknesses.

Incident Command System
This course provides participants with an orientation to the Incident Command System (ICS) and its application with The Salvation Army. The course examines how ICS is used to command, control and coordinate both large and small disaster relief operations.
